Thousands of kids and families will celebrate Halloween at The Super Dentists’ 15th Annual Spooktacular Halloween Party & Haunted House. Last year, 3,000 San Diegans attended the two-hour event. This year, they’ve expanded to three hours.

Last year’s debut of an educational haunted house, which teaches kids how scary it can be if they don’t take care of their teeth, was a huge hit! This year it promises to be even scarier! Local papier mache artist Sarit A Harel of Carmel Valley designed the life-size pieces for the educational haunted house. And, spooky actors add to the scare inside the haunted house.

Haunted House story: Cavitar, the evil villain, has taken over the office. He believes that sugar should take over the universe. The haunted house will be an educational experience, showcasing a lifetime of poor dental hygiene, with connections to heart disease.

In addition to the haunted house, the Spooktacular party will include:

  • Costume contest
  • Pony rides
  • Petting zoo
  • Laser tag
  • Live music from The Hullabaloo Band
  • Face painting
  • Trick or treating
  • Jumpies & games

Saturday, October 31 from 12 noon to 3:00 p.m.

CANDY BUY BACK: In addition to the Halloween party fun, The Super Dentists are continuing their long standing Candy Buy Back tradition. On Monday, November 2, kids can bring in candy to The Super Dentist offices in exchange for cash. Offices are located in Chula Vista, Eastlake, Carmel Valley and Oceanside. Please visit www.thesuperdentists.com for exact locations.

Kids will receive $1 for every pound of candy they bring in, and The Super Dentists will donate an additional $1 per pound of candy to Classics 4 Kids, a local charity – Music In Tune with Education. All candy will be donated to our troops overseas along with letters of appreciation brought in with the candy.

Schools throughout San Diego County will also have candy collection bins. Please email [email protected] for more information about the Candy Buy Back program or to arrange a pick-up for your candy bin.
