Spreckels Organ Society, a non-profit organization curating concerts and performances in the heart of Balboa Park, kicks off the fall season with three family friendly collaborative performances on Sundays, Oct. 1, Oct. 29, and Nov. 5.

The Spreckels Organ Pavilion is the largest open air musical instrument in the world! Set in the beautiful backdrop of Balboa Park’s open-air venue, performances bring a one-of-a-kind experience for guests. The elevated music venue brings world-class musical artists for San Diegans and visitors to enjoy, for free.

Sunday, Oct. 1 at 2:00 p.m. at the Spreckels Organ Pavilion
No charge admission (free and open to the public, with first come, first served on-stage seating)

The Enchanted Tail presented by Opera4Kids. This show is written especially for young children and those young at heart. Performed by top opera singers, the show will be sung by Victoria Robertson (Soprano) and Bernardo Bermudez (BariTenor) of Opera4Kids.

San Diego Civic Organist Raúl Prieto Ramírez will be joined by the San Diego Youth Symphony.

Opera4Kids presents Message in a Bottle. This production features composers, such as Mozart, Puccini, Strass, Wagner, Vivaldi, Verdi, and more. Audiences – young and young at heart – will walk away humming tunes from some of the most famous orchestral music of all time.

The Spreckels Organ Pavilion also hosts weekly concerts each Sunday at 2:00 p.m. Through the generosity of the City of San Diego, the weekly Spreckels Organ Society concerts at the Spreckels Organ Pavilion are presented at no charge in accordance with the 1915 Deed of Gift whereby the brothers John and Adolph Spreckels gave the organ and pavilion to the City of San Diego. Donations are always accepted.
