San Diego Children’s Discovery Museum is hosting an evening of family fun on Saturday, June 10 from 5:00 pm to 7:30 p.m. The event is set to bring the community together in the spirit of summer by highlighting local vendors and raising funds to benefit the Museum’s educational exhibits and programs.

The Summer Serenade event, presented by ASML, will feature live music, an improv circle with Patio Playhouse, sun prints with The Photographer’s Eye, and pottery with the San Diego Archaeological Center. There will also be a food truck, gelato, and beer and wine for adults to enjoy.

“We are excited to bring a new twist to our Summer Serenade event. This year we are showcasing the vibrant community of businesses and artists here in Escondido! Summer Serenade offers a wonderful opportunity for families to relax and enjoy live music with their little ones while also supporting the Museum’s many programs for underserved families in our community” said Krishna Kabra, CEO of San Diego Children’s Discovery Museum.

This year’s fun and diverse lineup will include family-friendly music by local rock stars Kathryn the Grape and Hooray Ms. Marae.

Pre-registration is required as tickets are available on a first-come, first-serve basis. Tickets are $10 for Museum members and $15 for non-members. Special discounts are available for military and veteran families.
