MEET YOUR MATCH AT THE MILE OF MALTESE CHARITY POOCH PARTY

*Sydnee’s Pet Grooming hosts Valentines-inspired fundraiser at Slater’s 50/50 San Marcos, Tuesday, Feb. 10*

Sydnee’s Pet Grooming and Slater’s 50/50 San Marcos are teaming up for a Valentines Pooch Party to benefit Maltese Rescue California, which coordinates the fostering and adoption of unwanted, homeless Maltese, placing them in permanent loving homes. The event will take place on Tuesday, Feb. 10 from 4pm to 7pm at Slater’s 50/50, located at 110 Knoll Road in San Marcos (92069).

The fundraiser will run all day, as 20% of event sales will be donated to the Sydnee’s Foundation to benefit Maltese Rescue. Special events will be taking place on the patio from 4pm to 7pm, including: a Mile of Maltese Valentine fashion show and a puppy kissing booth, plus Valentine’s candy and activities for the kids.

And, in the spirit of Valentine’s Day, Sydnee’s has signed on to be the grooming sponsor for Helen Woodward Animal Center’s Puppy Love 5K, March 15, 2015. The popular family friendly event for dog-loving families has recently announced a new course at Poway Lake. For details, visit http://www.animalcenter.org/events/puppylove/.

Sydnee’s recently launched its Foundation, dedicated to helping pets, and their pet parents, in the San Diego community to live happy and healthy lifestyles. As part of that, they host Pooch Party fundraising events throughout the year. This is their third event. The Foundation has raised hundreds for local rescue organizations to date.

Sydnee’s Foundation also supports local groups and charities to raise money for individual pets and their owners who are in need of help. Sydnee’s mission is to improve the lives of people and pets throughout San Diego, as well as educate people on the importance of a healthy lifestyle for their four legged best friends.
