Local Roots Hard Kombucha announces its new Summer Concert Series, every other Saturday from June 18 through August 13 from 7:00 to 11:00 p.m. at their new Boochyard taproom in North County (1430 Vantage Court, Suite 101 in Vista).
The series line-up includes:
Owned, brewed, and operated by cousins – Ryan White and Joe Carmichael – Local Roots will host the series with Boochyard exclusive food and drink specials in their new taproom with 5,000 sq foot outdoor patio on the border of Vista and Carlsbad. The taproom has close to 40 draft options – including favorites, such as Cali Mule, Strawberry Mojito, Purple Haze, Mai Tai, and specialty collaborations brews – along with experimental hard and non-alcoholic kombucha options, always pushing the envelope of better-for-you organic alcohol. They also highlight local beers and wine on tap. Cans, crowlers and growlers are all available to-go as well.
“We are thrilled to have the space to host some awesome local SoCal bands, and a variety of up-and-coming artists,” said White. “Local Roots’ new Boochyard is the quintessential San Diego summer party.”
The Boochyard has teamed up with Chef Jai Wurfbain of Eat Like Buddha to offer a variety of tasty bites, from Buddha Bowls, dumplings, flatbreads, tacos and more. Dishes are plant-based, sustainable, and sourced locally. Many dishes include Chef Jai’s signature Buddha Sauce.
White and Carmichael, who share a passion for health and wellness, brewed the business out of a love for clean eating and cold pressed juicing after family health battles with cancer and gut health. First launched in 2019, the cousins first took time to understand the process of commercial brewing and canning, now Local Roots can now be found in stores throughout California and Arizona. Local Roots is dedicated to give back to local communities while having a positive impact on our planet. They donate regularly to both local and environmental non-profits; the brewery is also solar powered and uses transparent and sustainable ingredients.
Taproom hours are Tuesday through Thursday from 3:00 to 9:00 p.m., Fridays and Saturdays noon to 11:00 p.m. and Sundays noon to 9:00 p.m.
