The Escondido Downtown Business Association hosts its annual chocolate festival “For the Love of Chocolate” on Saturday, Feb. 12.

Located in the historic downtown Escondido, chocolate lovers will explore designated restaurants, shops, and galleries, where gourmet chocolates will be paired with local fine wines and craft beer. Chocolate themed tastings will complement the participating restaurants and a  pop up art show.

Some participating locations include Stone & Glass, Sunny Side Kitchen, The Grand Tea Room, Little Miss Brewing, The Photographers Eye Gallery, Cute Cakes, Design Moe Kitchen and Bath, Fusion Restaurant, and the Escondido Art Association, among others.

This year boasts new event surprises including a photo booth p and so much more!

Sweethearts, “Galentine” friends, or anyone with a sweet tooth, can experience Escondido’s sweetest, all the while supporting local businesses. Check-in will take place at Will Call (where IDs will be checked), located at Maple Street Plaza, which is on Maple Street between Grand Avenue and West Valley Parkway.

The deliciously fun festival is only available for ages 21+. Tickets are $40, if purchased before February 4, or $50 between February 5-11. The event is limited to the first 350 people and typically sells out a few days before the event. There is also a non-alcohol tickets for $30 (before Feb. 4) and $40 (after Feb. 4).
