Clearity – a San Diego-based national ovarian cancer nonprofit organization – hosts its annual Teal Women Celebration on Sunday, Sept. 10 from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the breathtaking Alila Marea Beach Resort in Encinitas (2100 N. Coast Hwy 101, Encinitas, 92024).

This year (2023) marks Clearity’s 15th year supporting ovarian cancer patients and their families. The evening will reunite Clearity’s supporters to remember the progress made and help reach the ambitious goal to revolutionize the ovarian cancer experience, one person at a time, all while honoring the women who have faced an ovarian cancer diagnosis – also known as Teal Women.

The Teal Women Celebration will feature a sunset cocktail hour, silent auction and elegant dinner from the resort’s Executive Chef and Iron Chef Claudette Zepeda. Entertainment and program will follow, with a live auction to raise money to help ensure all women have access to Clearity’s programs and patient services.

Individual tickets are $350, or $3,500 for a table (host), and $5,000 to be a VIP table host. The event’s fundraising goal is $500,000. Wilson Sonsini, Wilson Sonsini Foundation, Dr. Laura Shawver and Tracy Macuga, Vern and Annie Norviel, Michael Hostetler and Erica Pascal, Carin Canale and Hillary Theakston and Cooley are all generous event sponsors.

Founded in 2008, Clearity is revolutionizing the ovarian cancer experience one person at a time. Every ovarian cancer patient experience is unique. That’s why Clearity meets each person where they are, in one-on-one supportive conversations with customized information and resources to help them better understand and manage their unique diagnosis and life situation.

Sponsorship is available to contribute to event expenses and help further expand the Foundation’s programs and resources, which are all offered at no cost to participants. For more information about the Teal Women Celebrations, visit https://www.clearityfoundation.org/tealwoman/.
