Coastal Roots Farm – a nonprofit Jewish community farm and education center in Encinitas – announces their 2023 Farm Film & Music Series, designed to educate, and entertain the community about our planet. This year’s series kicks off with “To Which We Belong,” on Thursday, May 18 at 7:00 p.m.

The film highlights farmers and ranchers leaving behind conventional practices that are no longer profitable or sustainable. These unsung heroes are improving the health of our soil and sea to save their livelihoods, and our planet.

The Farm invites families, friends, and the entire community to join them this spring, summer and into the fall for an entertaining 5-part series. The series will feature inspiring documentary films, local musicians, and meaningful conversations around equitable food systems, environmental justice, and caring for the planet. Attendees will learn from dedicated activists, scientists, farmers, and politicians about how regenerative agriculture has the potential to save our soil, rebuild our communities, combat climate change, and feed the world.
