SAN DIEGO, CALIF. (Nov. 3, 2014) – Calling all local artists! San Marcos-based Sydnee’s Pet Grooming launches countywide Mascot Design Contest to create Sydnee. In honor of National Pet Awareness Month, Sydnee’s is conducting a drawing competition November 1-21 with cash scholarships in three age categories.

Sydnee’s is seeking a mascot (design) that reflects the company’s philosophy, culture and style – any dog breed, size and color. First place finalists will be awarded: $500 (ages 12-15), $500 (ages 16-19) and $1,000 (ages 20+). Visit full contest rules and details right here.

Sydnee’s Pet Grooming is the largest, “little grooming salon in San Diego County,” styling 13,000 furry pets each year. Its mission is to create a healthy life with amazing style, where they are the home of the very popular furry facials.

Additionally, Sydnee’s PAC Foundation, and philanthropic arm, is dedicated to helping pets, and their pet parents to live happy and healthy lifestyles. As part of that, they host Pooch Party fundraising events throughout the year to support a variety of pet charity and rescue groups, along with a Troop Pooch military program.
