The 35th Annual San Diego International Jewish Film Festival (SDIJFF), coming up Jan. 27 through Feb. 8, 2025, presents the 7th Annual Joyce Forum Jewish Short Film Festival, Nov. 21-23, 2024, at the Lawrence Family Jewish Community Center Jacobs Family Campus. The Joyce Forum Jewish Short Film Festival is a three-day stand-alone festival, featuring more than 25 short films from around the world.
The annual short film festival takes film enthusiasts on a cinematic journey through the heart and soul of Jewish storytelling. The festival has five thoughtfully crafted programs, each offering a unique perspective on the rich tapestry of Jewish culture and heritage. Guests will be immersed in a kaleidoscope of 25-plus short films, curated from across the globe, and engage with filmmakers as they share insights and inspirations behind their creations, adding depth to this enriching cinematic experience.
Each program is ticketed separately at $10 (general admission) and $8 (LFJCC members).
The festival will be at the LFJCC’s David & Dorothea Garfield Theatre in UTC. For more information on each of the films, visit 2024jfjsff.eventive.org.
The event is organized by a committee of dedicated volunteers, led by Ronni Udoff, chair.
Both festivals are currently welcoming underwriters. This year’s experiences will drive vibrant celebrations around film, connection, and Jewish culture. To donate visit https://secure.givelively.org/donate/san-diego-center-for-jews-culture/35th-annual-san-diego-international-jewish-film-festival.
