Hop on over to the San Diego Animal Sanctuary & Farm, a 20-acre animal sanctuary in Alpine, to celebrate Easter with the animals and participate in one of three days of Easter Egg Hunts. The annual egg hunts are a tradition at the Farm and this year, there will be daily hunts at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, April 18, Saturday, April 19 and Sunday, April 20.
The Easter Egg Hunts will begin at 10:30 a.m. each day. Tickets are $14, plus admission per child; the price includes one Easter basket and a total of up to 14 eggs. [Guests are asked NOT to bring their own Easter basket as it will not be accepted. The idea behind this rule is to prevent size discrepancy of baskets.] Farm admission is required to participate in the egg hunt. Single-day adult admission is $40; $25 for kids (age 2-12, younger than 2-years are free). The Farm also has free parking.
More than 6,000 eggs will be filled with plush animals, toys, and candy, spread out across the 20-acre farm, with a chance to find one giant egg with a special plush and family passes (two adults, two children) hidden in one golden egg for each hunt.
The Farm’s sweet bunnies will be there too! And the Easter Bunny will be on hand, starting at 10:00 a.m. and will then be sitting under the oak trees for pictures and cuddles!
Visits to the farm also help provide care and financial support to the Farm. SDASF is open seven (7) days a week, from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. There is senior, first responder, military, veteran, teacher and Alpine resident discounts. You can become a member for the day at $40 for adults and $25 for children (children under 2-years are free). There are other membership options available. Parking is complimentary.
