ProduceGood, a non-profit dedicated to reducing food waste and hunger in San Diego County, is hosting a Glean-a-Thon fundraiser, Saturday, April 26 to raise a goal of $20,000.

This Earth Month, eight teams are participating in ProduceGood’s annual Glean-A-Thon fundraiser, where they will help harvest thousands of pounds of fresh citrus for San Diego’s food insecure neighbors. The “competition” will take place from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at a private residence in Rancho Santa Fe.

Every dollar raised will be matched by a generous grant, up to $20,000. Flat donations will also be gladly accepted. To donate, supporters can give securely at https://secure.qgiv.com/for/glean-a-thon2025/.

“We believe that everyone deserves access to fresh, nutritious food, regardless of their circumstances,” said Alexandra White, executive director and co-founder of ProduceGood. “This glean-a-thon takes the place of a gala and gets volunteers outside, helping to glean excess orchards and feed our community.”
