Hawthorne Country Store hosts monthly Makers & Growers Markets, held every first Saturday of the month at their Santee location, 10845 Woodside Avenue (92071). A variety of local makers will be selling products that they have made or grown locally, from 7:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. The next Makers & Growers Market will be held Saturday, June 1.
“Through this monthly market, we are supporting our community and local makers and farmers,” said Heather Thelen, owner of Hawthorne Country Store. “This is something that we’ve wanted to do for a long time and its true to our roots, showcasing the hard work and dedication of our local farmers and craftsmen and women.”
