Coastal Roots Farm – a nonprofit, regenerative community farm inspired by Jewish values, and education center in Encinitas – hosts REGENERATE!, an Eco-Performance Fest, Sunday, June 30 from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the Farm, located at 441 Saxony Road.

Following the success of last year’s festival, Coastal Roots Farm and JFEST (San Diego’s beloved Jewish arts festival) invite San Diegans for an evening of original eco-theater, dance, and music by some of the country’s most exciting, forward-thinking artists. Artists include such nationally recognized playwrights as Jose Cruz Gonzales whose play American Mariachi has had recent productions in the area.

Earth-based Jewish wisdom will ground the event and serve as inspiration for the artists. As we all navigate the darkness of the climate crisis and the environmental injustices of today, art can light our way and help us see, feel, and act with renewed joy and determination.

Following the performance, guests will be invited to mingle, discuss the performances, nosh, and enjoy music, during an after-party on the Farm. The cost is $36 per person, which includes the after-party. Group sales (groups of 10 or more) are also available; for more information on group sales, contact [email protected].
