James Stone is a glass and metal mixed media sculpture artist, working full-time out of his environmentally conscious studio – Stone & Glass – in Escondido, Calif. James’ is best known for his use of color; his process of casting glass hot out of the furnace, directly into the sculpted metal, is unique. His one-of-a-kind technique forges metal and hot cast glass with painted accents.
